Acerca del evento
Teatro Pescadero was founded by Dillon Porter and Mehry Eslaminia 5 months after meeting one fateful night in New York City.
Dillon, a former Broadway actor (The Ritz, 2007) was heading back to his family’s part time home in Baja to celebrate his upcoming birthday. Mehry on the other hand, had just moved to New York to begin rehearsals for her first Broadway debut in the revival of 1776.
When the pandemic hit within a week of meeting, the two decided to pivot. Mehry joined Dillon in BCS where they founded “Teatro Pescadero” with their inaugural performance of an hour-long adaptation of Kahlil Gibran’s “The Prophet.”
Since then, they have produced 5 productions in Pescadero and Todos Santos as well as facilitated a children’s theater camp called “Acting Up!”
